Crisis Christmas is the largest volunteer led event in the UK with over 8,000 volunteers and expects to serve some 30,000 meals over the festive week. Daniel Smith, Managing Director of Furniture Hire UK generously assisted this huge event by offering tables, chairs and other furniture for temporary shelters being set up by Crisis. The cold weather and snow forecast forced Daniel to bring forward his offer and he commented "my experience on the TV show Secret Millionaire opened my eyes to the plight of the homeless in this country and it is a great privilege for myself and all who work at Furniture Hire UK to help Crisis Christmas in our own small way."Read this story
