Our Furniture Goes For Gold At Awards Event

A large organisation holding annual awards for its staff recently ordered over a hundred of our banquet chairs and 11 round tables for the occasion. We went along to take a look at the finished venue, and saw just how chic these items look covered in linens and prepared for dining.

Award season kicks off

Motivating and rewarding colleagues for their efforts can make entire organisations much more productive. We recently paid a visit to a venue where our client was doing exactly this. The event consisted of a ceremony where staff are nominated and receive awards for their achievements at work.

A function like this often features some fine dining and we were delighted to offer 110 of our banqueting chairs and 11 1830mm round tables for the occasion, in addition to table linen and covers for seating. It’s the season for nominations, award ceremonies and red carpet entrances by Oscar-nominated actors. But on our recent site visit, we got to see how accolades for effort aren’t just confined to the rich and famous!

It’s all white

Organising a show like this, is a fun and enjoyable way to keep staff morale high. Being recognised for fulfilling their workplace roles makes colleagues more focused and productive, which can have a positive impact on companies as a whole. When entire workforces are invited to these kinds of functions, everyone gets a chance to socialise together and network with each other, improving communication.

The furniture provides the perfect base on which to design the rest of the venue. For this function, flowers brought splashes of colour to the venue and tableware completed the look. Like this event, some award ceremonies feature large audio-visual displays. Making sure guests are able to enjoy the show comfortably is important so they fully enjoy the event. Our banquet chairs feature pads to boost their comfort and allow attendees to relax.

To ensure that hire furniture is set up ahead of functions, we offer a full installation service. This is optional, and customers are free to choose between simply getting items delivered to their venue, or a partial/full set-up. Putting on chair covers and table linens, might take up some time, especially when bows are added to seating too. Selecting our full installation service means that clients can leave us to it and concentrate on any other tasks they may have.
